    header-2

But now our attention is turned to Mark Lofgren as he uses his techniques to produce a splendid new solo album for his many fans and beyond.
The Past Perfect hauntingly catches hold of many senses, reminiscing of the early musical works of Elliot Smith and Teenage Fan Club.
albumThe album runs nicely with few tracks falling into the skipping on variety. Mark does well to discover his own sounds and develops his own skills whilst magically keeping to his roots and throwing around twangs of his mother band, The Luck of Eden Hall.
Here’s Sassafras Overcoat by The Luck of Eden Hall

    Captain SIB’s Psychedelic Freakout – Chapter 65 – How Can I Resist?

chapter65It’s that season of year once more. The cold nights are drawing in. Time to chop up some furniture for the fire and bait the pigeon traps. Prepare for the oncoming apocalypse my friends.

Pay special heed for our Reverbnation Band of the Week Retro Lake who have fashioned a style of psychedelic pop/prog rock which took us by the ears and stuck our head in the oven. Fantastic.
